Building may be newer but this is not a well managed property by any means (noise level during quiet hours, lack if parking, cleanliness, continuous rental increase, high turnover in prop mgmt and others) Update: Decided to leave after poor management, weed smell in the hallway, loud noise during after hours, ridiculous water/sewer/garbage bills ($140/month for single person), being locked out of the apartment during the Feb '19 snowstorm (no one picked up the phone when power was out without access to the building) and many other reasons. During move-out, was charged additional $120 for ~130 sq.ft of carpet cleaning space .(even though I already carpet cleaned the bedroom). I think the new management is better than previous ones, but watch out for hidden costs.

I lived at Tria for 18 months. During that time we had 3 different apartment managers, all but the first of which were absolutely terrible. I’ll admit that the apartment itself was nice (which is why there’s 1 star), but it was otherwise a painful transition into the state of WA. Now that I’m in a new apartment in the city of Seattle, and able to experience EXCELLENT landlord and apartment management, I have to leave a review. This place is an absolute scam. I ended up OWING them money after I moved out despite no holes in the walls, no mounted tv or anything of the like. When I moved out, NO ONE came to do a walk out but of course, months later, somehow, I owe them money smh. When I called to inquire there were no justifications. The guy simply said, “Sorry about that-check or card?” Not only that, while I lived there, the garage on the second level stopped working for months; cars were broken into and vandalized but still, no changes. I love Newcastle, liked my apartment, but HATED the management here. I would recommend you look elsewhere. Oh, the rent was also more than what I pay for a 750 sqft unit in upper Queen Anne. Ugh. The only good thing that came out of this is that I’ll be able to sway the many interns and recent hires at the company I work for from considering this place. I’m disgusted! Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE experience. It is a SCAM.

I loved living here -- such a modern, brand new clean apartment. Lived here for 18 months, and I swear I never saw even one bug! (or pest for that matter). Plenty of light. Great staff. Fair price. Away from all the noise of Bellevue and Redmond, but just close enough. Newcastle is such a nice little town and a lot of people don't know about it. I'd live here at Tria again in a heartbeat.

I recently went by for a tour and Stephany was so helpful! Very professional and knowledgeable. Everything just felt welcoming. I would definitely recommend Tria!!

Just don't. I'd say more but I am too exhausted from spending all my time and energy just trying to get this management company to care.

So Tria looked like a great place. It was so shiny and new and clean and nice! But after living here for 18 months I can’t wait to move out. I have never ever felt compelled to write a review for an apartment, but this one has just pushed me over the edge. Starting with the positives, everything inside the apartment is new and clean. Nothing has broken on me and the newer appliances are very nice. Also the staff is usually very friendly. Although there seems to be high turn around on staff members and sometimes they don’t take care of requests even after being asked multiple times. So I guess we’re in the negative section now: Firstly, there’s never any maintenance on weekends so usually it’s gets pretty gross by Monday morning. The trash chute has backed up all the way to the sixth floor so people just leave the bags in the chute room. Next, the parking is atrocious. I don’t think they built enough spots for the people who live here and they only have three visitors spots for the whole building. Most egregiously, the noise level. I haven’t had a good nights sleep since I moved here. The walls and ceilings are pretty thin as with many places in the area, but what really tips it over are the rude, loud, inconsiderate neighbors. I have one neighbor who blasts music all day and into the night, so loud it vibrates my kitchen. Another above me, stomps around and moves furniture almost nightly. I have complained about both to the office but nothing happens. I feel like I’m paying almost $2000 a month to live in a dorm building. I’ve also made a few friends here and they too have experienced loud neighbors on their sides of the building. One even had to call the cops to stop her neighbors from blasting music at 3 am. The maintenance guys also apparently don’t know how to work the timer on the trash compactor. As I write this, the trash compactor has been running and banging and grinding for three days and nights non stop. Previously, it was set to run at 4 am every morning. I have over a months worth of emails between the office and myself complaining about this problem. It’s still happening. Again, I haven’t had a good nights sleep in months. I’ve resorted to using earplugs, but even then if my neighbors move furniture or the compactor gets a big bump it’s loud enough that I still hear it. All night. Part of this can be avoided if you don’t rent an apartment near the trash chute room, which I did because I thought that was convenient, but oh god was I wrong. Although no matter where in the building you are, the loud neighbors and no action from the staff is still gonna happen anyway. So if you wanna take a gamble on Tria, good luck. It’s a nice area, but if you like to sleep more than three hours a night, go somewhere else.

Went by here to check out the building.. leasing office had a sign "be back at 4pm" on the glass door we decided to wait for them to come back (15mins) Well after 15 mins no one came to the door so we got up and there is some lady sitting in the office at the desk and she sees us just standing there and ignores us. We walk out. I won't be renting here.
